How’s it going all … I hope you’re all doing ok.
I thought I’d better give you an update. I’m done with COVID and back at work. I still get tired of an afternoon and some days are better than others.
Saw the new top gun movie the other night and thought it was better than the first one.
Other than that not much else to report, but I’m happy it’s weekend.
@matigo I have everything crossed. Apart from the congestion at the start and the fatigue at day 3 I’ve been feeling ok. I’ll do another test on Tuesday. That’ll be day 7 and hopefully no more isolation after that.
Day 4 almost over. Found out yesterday my uncle also has COVID. I guess we didn’t escape it this time. If mum remains negative it’ll be her turn to escape it from us this time around.
Today was a much better day, I was able to stay awake all day. 3 more days to go until I’m out of isolation.
@sumudu it’s pretty much the same here too. We have next to no restrictions now, the only real one being masks on public transport, taxis and ride shares. The numbers of people wearing masks on the train have dropped dramatically. No doubt that’s where I caught it from.

Day 3 … today the low energy levels have surfaced. I feel very lethargic. Will probably end up sleeping most of the day. I don’t even have enough energy to game … Took another test this morning … still positive.
@joeo10 Thanks Joe. I feel like the tiredness is starting to kick in now. They say Day 3 is the worst and that’s tomorrow for me. At least it’ll be Friday though.
@sumudu yes, my mum has been delivering meals to me. I’m still working from home while I can too. I have a tv in my bedroom so I’ve been watching random stuff on YouTube. Taking all the precautions I need to so I’m ok for the most part.

@matigo That’s very true. For now it just feels like I have a cold. No sore throat, no aches or fever. I can still take cold & flu meds so I’ve been doing that. 6 more days of isolation though … ugh! We’ve been given the directive to work from home as well.
@variablepulserate I do! Tomorrow will mark 4 months since I started (wow that’s gone quick). The fact it’s a permanent job makes it even better too, I now have the job security I’ve spent a fair amount of years looking for.
