@matigo too much brain power for either lol. Found out earlier my uncle now has it too.
Day 3 … today the low energy levels have surfaced. I feel very lethargic. Will probably end up sleeping most of the day. I don’t even have enough energy to game … Took another test this morning … still positive.
@joeo10 Thanks Joe. I feel like the tiredness is starting to kick in now. They say Day 3 is the worst and that’s tomorrow for me. At least it’ll be Friday though.
@sumudu yes, my mum has been delivering meals to me. I’m still working from home while I can too. I have a tv in my bedroom so I’ve been watching random stuff on YouTube. Taking all the precautions I need to so I’m ok for the most part.

@matigo That’s very true. For now it just feels like I have a cold. No sore throat, no aches or fever. I can still take cold & flu meds so I’ve been doing that. 6 more days of isolation though … ugh! We’ve been given the directive to work from home as well.
@variablepulserate I do! Tomorrow will mark 4 months since I started (wow that’s gone quick). The fact it’s a permanent job makes it even better too, I now have the job security I’ve spent a fair amount of years looking for.
@matigo I know right? Trust the welcome bot to remind us though.
Thanks for the well wishes Jason, appreciate it. I feel ok for the most part but I expect to feel worse before I feel better.
Wow, has it really been since Easter that I was last here? Yikes, time flies when you’re getting used to a new job and there’s also been some family stuff happening, which I’ll share at a later time no doubt.
For now though, I’ll keep it short and sweet. After two and a half years of being seriously careful about everything, even escaping it when my mum had it a few months ago, I’ve now tested positive for COVID. Little bugger had to come for me at some point, right?
I’m feeling ok for the most part and I can still work from home but we’ll see what happens in the coming days.
Anyway, just came in to say hi. Hope you’re all going ok.
@joeo10 Indeed. There will always be outbreaks, that’s inevitable. But for us with winter coming up, it’s going to be harder to distinguish where its COVID or the flu. My mum described it as a really bad cold.
