@matigo what are you hmmming about now?
@kdfrawg I know right! Formalities I guess but seriously … just slide me in there. You know I can do the job, it would save you recruitment costs ….
So, here's what I found out at the day job:
I've been extended until June at this point. There's still internal movements happening all over the place and it's most likely going to mean they will recruit my job temporarily for up to 2 years. The bonus for me is it will be recruited internally and externally, which as a contractor will give me somewhat equal opportunity to apply for my own job. (I've never understood that concept, but ok).
I've set up a job alert so I know the exact moment the ad goes live. In the meantime, I've been working on my resume and cover letter. I figure I've been doing this job for almost 3.5 years - I should be able to sell myself by now, right?
Who knows, they may still tap me on the shoulder if the recruiting process goes belly up. Or I could be the only one that applies (yes, I've been in that situation before too …) and they have no choice but to give it to me. I don't know … exciting but nervous times - stay tuned.
@matigo pineapple on a pizza is the best thing ever. I'm sure I've had debates with people on this before …

@hybotics I'm 90% sure my nan had a similar type poster board when she used to do jigsaw puzzles, I think we may have trashed it when we moved though.
Ok - I need some advice from the jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts out there. I'm keen to get back into doing some of the jigsaws I have in my collection, but I'm looking for a proper board (not a mat). I had my eye on one but it was only 1000pc and I'm really after something bigger. Any tips?
@joanna Thanks Joanna! I reckon if they do decide to recruit my role externally, I'll need a fair bit :)
