no, I guess not :)

Nope, nothing like that. The FitBit was a little out of my budget to buy outright so I settled for this one instead. Now that I'm getting my Apple Watch though I can put this one out of commission, by selling it to a friend.

I'm such a nerd, I'm researching all the sweet apps I can put on there, and I don't even have it yet!

ah yes … this is what I like to call my fakebit:

It's basically a smart bracelet that tracks steps, heart rate, calories burned etc.
A cheap version of the FitBit.

Ahoy everybody … that's another Monday done. It was a day full of distractions but I hope tomorrow will be a better day. I did however manage to scratch my iPad screen this morning on the train, so I don't know how much it will cost to get fixed. I have an appointment with the Apple Store in the city on Friday morning to assess the damage. I believe it is only a surface scratch but still enough to annoy me.

On the up side, I am getting my Apple Watch tomorrow (so excited!) and I also managed to sell my fakebit in the process.

yeah, but this week will see the end of an era. It's just really hard to see him go out like this, senior management have made things very difficult for him in the later stages, and while I understand his need to vent, it's very hard for me to hear that and treat it like water off a ducks back. That being said, we will miss his knowledge and quick wit.

@schmidt_fu it's interesting how a group of introverts have come out of themselves through an exercise like this. I'm glad we have our little social circle where we can share all sorts of stuff.

//

@kdfrawg no, he shouldn't. It'll be interesting to see how this week goes.

//

@kdfrawg it would definitely give them a bit more understanding about the whole thing, that's for sure.

//

@schmidt_fu I guess the good thing about doing this whole exercise is finding out most of the team is like me. My team leader is an extravert so it'll be interesting for her to learn how introverts interact.

Oh goodness! Seems us 4 are quite alike in a lot of ways. I'm completely ok with doing 1:1 training but when it comes to training in a group situation I definitely struggle. Also, I used to play piano too when I was younger. Not professionally or anything like that though, just a fun thing to do.
