Gah! Found the best deal on a switch bundle and it only lasts till Wednesday :( Poooooooo!
So tempted to just bite the bullet and get one you know … bugger this waiting game bullshit!
For weeks now I've been debating about getting either a Wii U (mainly due to many games I want to play) or a Switch. The Wii U was looking good1 but I've been reading some things about the Switch that have made me change my mind.
The main thing is being able to transition between home console and portable console. I could play Breath of the Wild on the train to and from work as well as after I get home and over the weekend. The main disadvantage at the moment is not having a Virtual Console to be able to download games from past systems. I've read that it's definitely being released but not sure when. It's quite possible they might announce something about it at E3 in June.
I think if I was to get a Switch, playing Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe would take up most of my time anyway, making the Virtual Console something to look forward to.
I know I said before I wasn't interested in the Switch, but after hearing things, reading a bit more into it and watching Breath of the Wild being played on YouTube, the Switch has edged in front of the Wii U.
Now to find the best deal.

@kdfrawg In the current job market where a permanent job doesn't mean what it used to, no. There are mostly full time contracts for a certain amount of time, but no job is ever safe.

@hybotics Thanks Dale! I was talking to my sister about it all today. Compared to me she isn't the most patient person and getting this far without knowing anything would do her head in. I'm hoping this week will bring some good news.

@hybotics It really can! I can't do them at work anymore cause the legal eagles got caught spending too much time doing them. I feel like I'm making up for it by doing them at home instead. This one was extra special cause it was one my niece gave me for Christmas last year.
Finished my 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle! Yay! And my niece even got to see it all finished which was a bonus, since she gave it to me after all.
Now the plan is to get it custom framed and give it to her.
