@kdfrawg And chips!! Can't forget those :)

Well it's official. My job is on the job board now for all to see and apply for - it closes next week and I'm working on my application. It's a wonder they didn't just tap me on the shoulder but I guess that's just the process. I'll be relieved once I submit it but then the waiting game begins. It feels weird having to apply for a job that you've been sitting in for almost 3.5 years, 2 of those as a contractor.
@matigo that's a fair call. I'm the kind of person that will immerse myself in whatever I'm listening to, whether it be on the train to and from work or even when I'm working on mind numbing spreadsheets. I figure the complete noise cancellation thing isn't such a great idea.

@jws I did see that post, just was too tired last night to do anything. They are worth a look too. I think I'll head into JB today and just test a few out. I haven't had that kind before so just want to make sure they actually fit in my ears.

@matigo I must admit I'm a little freaked out by the whole noise isolation thing too. There has to be that certain point where you can get lost in the music but still have enough bearings to figure out your surroundings.

@hazardwarning Thanks Vanessa, I agree - all earphones die, I just had a brainfart and left mine in my jeans pocket. Oops! They were good for what they were though but they did keep falling out of my ears. Not good when you're sometimes running for the train. I'll have a look at these ones too. ?

@phoneboy I have a set of their over the ear headphones (the Uproar Wireless) that I'm super happy with. Figured I'd venture out and see what their in ear ones are like. And they're just in my $$ range too.
@kdfrawg I agree! My mum offered to take them back for me while she was hanging around the city today. She was successful in getting a refund for me so now I can get some better earbuds.
