Well it's official. I'm not going to a day on the green on Sunday now. The severe weather event that happened here yesterday was enough to put the fear of God into us. I have sold my tickets through viagogo.com for any Brisbanites that are interested in seeing Blondie, Cyndi Lauper and a few unknown bands.

@kdfrawg Exactly! There are still some roads flooded around Brisbane (none near me thank goodness). I think everyone had that eerie feeling today, that it's so calm now after such destruction last night.

@kdfrawg I deliberately don't have it often, in fact I don't have bread that often but when I do - OMG soooo goooood! I figure it was a nice Friday treat.

yeah, I succumbed to the craving of cinnamon toast. It was sooo good, especially with my vienna cinnamon latte.

@kdfrawg yeah, I think autumn has finally arrived. If these cooler temperatures and low humidity keeps up I'll be very happy :)

that's what I'm thinking too. A treat I don't often have.

@kdfrawg what is surprising is after all that rain last night, I expected the humidity today to be a lot worse. Maybe the strong winds have something to do with that.

Hmmm, cinnamon toast or no cinnamon toast ….

Well, morning all. Today is a very different day - cloudy, blue sky. Schools are still closed today and the train is a bit more empty than normal.

@kdfrawg High humidity will be the real test for us, that's for sure.
