do you think you'll make it?

lucky for me I get paid by my contractor, so that's no issue for me.

can't you take an early mark?

Well, looks like the target has moved once more. Early to mid week - what a load of BS! IT'S PAST MID WEEK NOW BITCH!!

I feel a sternly worded phone call is on the cards when I get into work tomorrow morning.

@kdfrawg I can't wait until weekend. It's no wonder I get to the end of the working week and I would rather introvert than be social. Especially at the moment.

@kdfrawg yeah, I don't get to reap many rewards I'm afraid. I need to take a day off soon so I can recharge cause this is seriously getting ridiculous now.

hahaha! I hadn't thought of that - might have to leave that for if I get it. My belly is still gurgly after my poor decision to have a breakfast wrap yesterday morning.

@kdfrawg I figure my loyalties have to lie somewhere, right? I made a revelation at the end of last week - my health, wellbeing and maintaining my stress levels are far more important than anything the day job dishes out at me.

No worries! hugs even more I think we both need all the hugs we can get at the moment.

Morning all. This week I've adopted the mindset of 'Screw you guys'. This only relates to the day job and no other aspect of my life.

I had a new team leader start last week, on days where I'm completely on my own normally (cause my teamie only works part time). So yeah, that was a shock.

This week is month end for us (yes, in our finance world we have very strange accounting periods) and she mentions that she wants me to train her to be a backup for me in case I get sick or god forbid get hit by a bus or train.

That's fine, but it's not high on my priority list and neither should it be on hers. Right now we need to get through month end and then get through end of financial year. Then I might have some capacity to sit with her properly.

Oh, not to mention the fact that my job isn't even secure yet. It wouldn't be fair on her if I was to start training her, only to leave a week later if that's how the tables turn.

I fear this is déjà vu all over again. Ugh!
