Finally cracked open my salted caramel ice cream. Sooooo good!!! I could easily wrap myself up in a ball in front of the TV right now.
@indigo I'm glad too. I can't worry about the things I can't get done now. It's just getting through this week that will be the hardest part.

@joeo10 Thanks Joe! ?I've been able to build on a great subset of skills. I do want to build some more skills as a hobby and we'll see where it goes from there.
@matigo sounds like a good plan! I've been deliberately taking longer lunch breaks and leaving ridiculously early. Been getting home before 5pm so far this week and damn it feels good. I found out the new guy is starting on Monday so I've chosen a good time to leave. My last day is on Friday.
@indigo definitely! I can afford to take a tiny break before I get into looking for work. I've been wanting to take a break for so long but couldn't justify it. Now I can finally regroup and figure out where to from here.
@kdfrawg I somehow expected this would be your reaction. My plan is to leave this coming Friday. I'm going to take my dad's advice and treat these next four days as the best I've ever had.
