Yeah, getting back to that routine would be nice. Been kinda lost without it but being forced to take a step back from everything has its advantages I suppose.

I am mostly feeling better, my mobility1 is getting better by the day. Any small win I can get is good.

  1. I’ve always had balance and coordination issues so an injury of this nature is ten times worse for me than any other “normal” person

So, still off work this week but hopefully I’ll get back to work next week. Physio is recommending I start off with going to work a couple of days and see how I go from there.

Indeed. It was very painful. The fact I couldn’t do anything about it worried me too. Now I seem to be on the mend. Swelling has gone down a lot from even yesterday.

Thanks mate. Just have to keep moving around so I don’t seize up. I can put a small amount of pressure on it at the moment, just trying not to push it too far.

I hope so too. ?

I’ve got to keep this splint on for a few days. Had xrays and all seems to be back in the right spot but it’s still really swollen. I’m off work for this week at least.

Hey guys! So quick update: I’m slightly incapacitated right now. Managed to dislocate my knee quite badly last night and ended up in the ER. I’ve got a full length splint on my leg and I’m moving around as best I can. So I haven’t disappeared I’m just recovering.

It was good. One on mum’s bucket list rather than my own. He doesn’t play drums anymore due to complications with his back, his son plays them now and is quite good at it. He walked out with a cane and basically sat in a chair the whole time. I quite enjoyed the concert though, nice mix of old & new stuff.

Indeed. Phil Collins played here last night.
