@matigo just a dead battery is all. I would normally have my backup wired earbuds in my bag but I must’ve forgot to pick them up when I left this morning.
Oh and my wireless earbuds just died and I don’t have any backups on me. Please just get me home already … 3 stations left.
Oh my god, I’m only halfway through this commute when I’m normally getting off the train to walk home. These are the times public transport can really screw you over.
@axodys yeah, I guess that’s true. It’s just the principle of it. And the mere thought of how smelly his feet actually are. Eww!
I am almost certain this might be the reason why no one sits next to this dude on the train …
@matigo yeah, that “Find My” can be pretty accurate. I suggested it to a friend who got on the train really angry that he’d lost his phone one morning. Luckily it was found in a ditch near the tracks when we got back that night and didn’t take much damage. He wasn’t able to get it until the next day though.
How’s this for a blast from the past:
I have a friend on Facebook, who I indirectly worked with back in 2011 and he would religiously send me a birthday message on there. Each year we’d both be like ‘hey we’re long overdue for a catch up’ and nothing ever came of it because life gets in the way1. The last time we actually spoke besides these messages was in 2014.
So tonight I decided I’d reach out and see if he was keen to catch up. Turns out he’s still working at the same place he was way back when and our workplaces are quite close to each other. So we’re catching up for lunch this week.
Let’s face it, life is hectic. Sometimes it’s all sunshine and rainbows, other times it’s quite the opposite
@matigo Oh no! Has she backtracked to where she was around that time?1
Stupid question but still worth asking.
