I actually thought I’d lost my phone walking to the train station one morning. The only other telltale sign I had other than the fact it wasn’t in my pocket was my earbuds were getting crackly cause they were losing Bluetooth range. I couldn’t ping it with my watch either. Luckily I found it maybe 100 metres behind me. No shattered screen but cosmetic scratches on the side.

I guess trying to get any kind of information from a government authority is like extracting teeth. I hope you get what you need sooner rather than later.

Yes, that pesky eviction. I wonder what else can be done about that besides legal advice from some kind of tenant tribunal.

Have you tried to reach out to her and find out? Maybe there’s an opportunity for you to get across what you wanted to. She might think a bit differently once she knows your side of the story. It might be a really hard thing to do but it doesn’t hurt to give it a go.

I would definitely do some research around the rules with the recordkeeping with public housing and how long the state housing authority is required by law to keep those records. Over here businesses are required by law to keep records in their archive system for 7 years before destroying them.

There was a signal fault at South Brisbane, which is 2 stops into the trip. My station is 12 stops from the city when I’m on an express train. It was at least a half hour delay.

just a dead battery is all. I would normally have my backup wired earbuds in my bag but I must’ve forgot to pick them up when I left this morning.

Finally home … 2 hours after I left the city. Yuck!

Oh and my wireless earbuds just died and I don’t have any backups on me. Please just get me home already … 3 stations left.

Oh my god, I’m only halfway through this commute when I’m normally getting off the train to walk home. These are the times public transport can really screw you over.

yeah, I guess that’s true. It’s just the principle of it. And the mere thought of how smelly his feet actually are. Eww!

I am almost certain this might be the reason why no one sits next to this dude on the train …
