So the NBN technician is coming tomorrow to assess whether we can be connected or not. If it turns out as we suspect it will, I may be without internet between tomorrow and Monday. Ugh!
Luckily for me, it's not going to interfere with gaming, as most of the games I play don't require me to be online in any capacity. I will have to tether my phone if I want to watch YouTube in the gaming lab (aka media room) though.

That train ride felt really long for some reason. Could be that I’m on a later train than normal. Could also be I’m not having any debates with anyone to pass the time anymore. Still 3 stations left before the smelly walk home.
@sumudu Yeah it was. Monday is always a tough day but I'm glad it's over. I think I'm up for an early night too. I lost quite a bit of sleep while I was housesitting (maybe because of the cat) so it'll be nice to catch up.
@sumudu Yeah, it was a pretty good day, despite moving work desks. The upside of that is I now have a sit stand desk, which will do well for my knee. It’s been giving me grief lately. The retail therapy is working well for me. Bought myself some new work shirts, a water flosser and some more thyroid meds. There’s one more thing I need to get before the Black Friday sales finally come to a close.
@matigo True. It saves me $8.04 in train fares for the day. I can’t complain about that.

@matigo Oh you mean the uniformed inspectors that randomly get on the train to check go cards & such? Then yes, at least for the day.
This is an initiative from Queensland Rail basically thanking us for putting up with them through all the recent delays and such. Next Monday will be the last free train travel day.
Morning all. Ugh it’s Monday. Turns out I don’t feel like a zombie this morning, which is nice. It’s free train travel day again today. Now to resume the retail therapy I started last night.
