I am starting to like the idea of working from home but on the flip side I like hanging out with mates for lunch or for drinks. And I miss that. An IT friend of mine had a video call with some coworkers and they still caught up for drinks. I thought that was cool.

last week was fine in terms of bandwidth and stuff but I think this week because more people have started to work from home and everyone is accessing the servers at the same time I’ve noticed a massive change. I’m starting to think working the graveyard shift isn’t such a bad idea.

I’d like to just write today off if that’s ok with everybody. It’s taking me forever to do anything cause of my stupid internet … I feel like I should work the graveyard shift, might get more done that way.

It was extremely hard. She was quite old (almost 19) and her health deteriorated more rapidly than we anticipated. I still hear the sound of her collar ringing sometimes.
