@kdfrawg I know right!! Soooo happy to have a long weekend, finally some downtime!. Only down side is I don't get paid for public holidays but I've been saving enough to cover myself so I'm good.

@kdfrawg Yeah I know. I'm kinda at that point now where I'm just like 'it's all closed now, let's start shortlisting'. I had a team meeting today and apparently the HR lady that was looking after the recruitment for my role has now left BCC. It'll be another week or two before I know anything.
@indigo Ours is consecutive weeks. Friday and Monday for Easter, the following Tuesday for Anzac Day (end of April) and the next Monday (start of May) for Labour Day. I've got two days off on the Anzac Day week cause I have to house sit for my Dad on the Friday. This cluster of public holiday is the last for us until August so I guess we'd better make the most of it. Sleep in here I come!!

Just out of interest, are you still working through the other Zelda games or have you skipped straight to Ocarina? I know what I'll be doing tonight that's for sure!! The only thing stopping me is falling asleep as soon as I hit the bed. Been awake since 5.30am!! I think I'm up to Death Mountain.
@indigo Yep, we do! We have a month of four day weeks ahead of us. This is week 1.
I don't know what to do now. I know I'm tired but I feel like part of me is running on pure adrenalin. I have thoughts of preparing for work tomorrow but then I think 'well you'll be there at the bumcrack of dawn anyway, just wait until then!'. Thank god for the end of the week.
@matigo I doubt I'll be doing much for Easter either this year. We were deliberately not planning anything due to our new Bub.
In other family news, I got a call from my mum today to tell me that our new Bub will be here any day now. Exciting times for all. ?
Now I know was it's really like to be an early bird. I was awake before sunrise and getting home just on sunset. Rinse and repeat for tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get more done though. There's no way I'm doing any work for the day job over the long weekend. Ocarina of Time awaits.
