@hybotics I think it was more of a shock to see him than anything else. I knew it would eventually happen knowing we work directly across the street from each other. That being said I don't want to gain the attention of someone that ended up being a negative influence in my life.
@kdfrawg Good advice. I've moved on as I'm sure he has too. I'm almost certain he didn't notice me anyway but could sense him moving as far away from me as possible.
@kdfrawg I only say that cause I noticed a ring on his finger. He's probably happily married with kids and gets very little me time.
There are moments where I think I'm in a good place and I've grown a little more and then there are moments like today when I see someone I used to have strong feelings for and my whole world comes crashing down. Damn you life!
Saw the ex for the first time in a couple of years at least. I ended up behind him in the line getting out of the train station but jumping to another line to get past him quicker. I looked back at him but didn't say anything. My current place of work is directly across from his so I knew I'd see him at some point. Needless to say my heart is racing right now.
@kdfrawg hehe… to be honest I didn't think that far ahead. There was a guy sitting across from me on the train this arve playing Zelda on his Switch. Clearly the only gaming time he gets.
