Oh goodness! Thankfully it’ll be all adults but still. Usually we can all retreat to our separate areas but especially in the last few days the humidity has affected us quite badly. Fans can only provide a small amount of relief.

It’s going to be an absolute madhouse here this weekend. There’s the five of us, plus my cousin and his girlfriend, plus my other cousin’s boyfriend arrives from Sydney on Friday. Too many people in one house = anxiety overload.

I guess I’ll be retreating to my sister’s. Give me my Switch and any of my iDevices and I’ll be fine. My niece will probably beat me at MarioKart 8 again but that’s ok too.

Definitely. Our furry friends seem to bring out the best in us.

@kdfrawg I’ve been playing many other games in the time I haven’t been playing Zelda, which has been fun for variety’s sake. It didn’t take as long as I thought it would to get back into Zelda again.

As an added bonus I’ve been watching some VR games played on YouTube lately. It’s definitely got me interested but I don’t know how I’d go with the VR headset. I don’t have any peripheral vision as it is so I fear there will be issues there.

Yay Dale. So happy you could finally get the pup you’ve always wanted. ?

@kdfrawg True. Especially when you work with different consoles and different controllers. I constantly get my Switch Pro Controller and my PS4 controller confused. Luckily it hasn’t taken as long as I expected to get used to Zelda’s controls again.

So after a day of watching compilations of funny moments of games being played on YouTube, I decided since I finished one campaign of Shovel Knight the other day I would make an attempt to keep going with Zelda.

Good thing I did. When I loaded my last game save it was a shocking revelation. I had not played Zelda in over 3 months. It’ll take a while to not only figure out where I was up to but how the controls work. I guess a few hours of playing tonight and some of tomorrow will help bring me back up to speed.

that’s good news ? fingers crossed for Tuesday.

hahaha, nice one Dale ?

I think once I got into the groove of it all I was ok but yeah when you first walk into the room not knowing anybody and you’re forced to be in a group situation, that’s when the anxiety kicks in. But I’m sure everyone else felt that way too.
