@hazardwarning My excitement is short lived. All we have here as far as green tea goes is with mint or lemon. You have a far better range than us. I like the idea of the caramelised apple or gingerbread as well.

@matigo I’ll share pics when I’ve done a bit more. The one I’m doing right now is a rainbow castle with round beads - 30x30cm. I’ve done almost one colour out of 21. I am interested to get some paintings with square beads though. They seem to be more popular.
I started my first diamond painting today and I definitely think this new hobby is something I can get quite addicted to. I have watched many tutorials on YouTube so I felt like I knew what I was doing right away. The two I currently have are quite small and I’m actually looking forward to getting some bigger ones already. They say the bigger the picture the better the detail. There are many that I’ve saved to my wishlist already.
@sumudu Agreed! I guess I stumbled on the whole diamond painting thing by accident. But then the more I looked at sites where I can get them and tutorials on YouTube, the more I got excited about it. They say it relieves stress and anxiety as well, so that’s a plus.
Today has been a good day. I managed to catch up on one of the new units in my course, found some more jobs to go for, and my diamond painting kits arrived so I can’t wait to get into that new hobby. I’ve always been a fan of paint-by-numbers, but a lot of the apps I have on my iPad aren’t compatible anymore. This just takes it to a whole new level and I’m up for the challenge.
