@matigo Probably teeth. That’s usually the case with my nephew, though I know your little one is a few months older.
@konrad Yeah, you’re right. Seems my default reaction is to always be skeptical until proven otherwise. I bought some diamond paintings back in January from a place and to date I haven’t received them. I highly doubt they’ve even shipped my order and trying to contact them has proven to be a fruitless exercise. Luckily I didn’t spend that much but I’ve since found at least 3 or 4 reputable places I can go to buy them, including eBay.
@konrad I’ve been mainly going off what people have said in the YouTube comments on the videos I’ve been watching. But I’ve started to read feedback on the particular seller’s sites as well. Most seem positive but there’s always going to be that one time where it’s not.
@konrad Hmmm, good to know. I guess I won’t really know for myself unless I give it a shot, right? Might just bite the bullet and see what happens.
Has anybody here ordered anything from Ali Express before? If so, how was your experience? I want to order a diamond painting from them but after hearing different opinions on others’ experiences online I’m not so sure now.
@matigo yeah, that’s never a good idea. It’s easy to zone out when it’s a part of the course that you like more than others though. I’m not into this budgeting unit I’m doing one of the assessments for and I’ll be glad when it’s done.
I’ve been spending my week focusing on assessments for my course. 4 of them due in the next two weeks, plus 1 I had to do corrections on. I’ve completed 1 and the corrected one and I’ve almost finished another which I’ll submit tomorrow.
I’ve made no progress on my diamond painting or searching for jobs this week. Not enough hours in the day.
My faith in purchasing paint with diamonds kits online (other than eBay) has been restored. I got an email today to say my order from Paint With Diamonds has been shipped and I can already see tracking for it, unlike my first attempt with another place back in January. There’s also a place from the Philippines I can get some kits too.
I’ll have to share my progress with my rainbow castle so far for those interested.
@hazardwarning They all sound awesome! The ones we have on regular rotation are mango, blueberry, apple & cinnamon, strawberry & rhubarb and passionfruit. The only one we haven’t tried yet out of the range available is honey.

@hazardwarning oooh yes please! I must admit I’m a bit hit and miss with yoghurt but we’ve been getting ours from the local deli. It’s made by a place in Maleny (a few hours north of here) and the apple & cinnamon one is to die for.
