Came home from my job interview today to find this haul of diamond paintings delivered today. 4 in total but there was one I picked up from the letterbox later in the day.
@matigo Yeah, he was such a down to earth guy. At TAFE doing a course to get into social work, starting to get back into playing football for a local team. So much ahead of him, yet gone way too soon.
Today I'm still feeling numb. We got some horrific news yesterday - my cousin's boyfriend passed away in a car accident. He was 19. We don't know any more details than that and to be honest I'm not sure I want to know. Everyone here is still in shock and denial about it all.
I think it'll be a day of painting and gaming.
@tomas you'll find that only occurs with the city people. The people that live out in the sticks are much more friendly. Before my uncle moved up here a couple of years ago he used to live in a sheep's station down there. Doesn't get more in the sticks than that!

@matigo oh definitely. Job searching and studying have taken precedence over the last few days. I feel like I need a break. Can’t wait to get stuck in to this painting.
