@kdfrawg Oh God I hope so too. My mental fatigue can't take much more of it. I think that's half the reason I come here and talk about it, so hopefully a small part of how I'm feeling will escape and replace the awful stuff with happy stuff.

@kdfrawg neither had I, until now. I'm finding it quite relaxing, especially with the board I have now. Escaping the rat race of life is fun too, even if it is for a little bit.

I am unexpectedly not tired. But I know as soon as I get settled upstairs in front of the TV and/or in front of my Mac that will instantly change. I was contemplating either doing some work or making a to do list for tomorrow but I figure since I've been doing lists for days and not getting anywhere, why could that possibly change? Maybe half an hour of jigsaw puzzle will help.

lasagne and salad :) mmmm!

I had to cancel my Apple Store appointment for the third time today. Sheesh!

I also found a third scratch and I'm not sure how that appeared but I think while it seems to be working fine I should probably give up trying to get quotes to fix it at the moment until I'm absolutely certain I can get out and do that. The day job is taking up all of my time and constantly playing catch up is not a fun experience. I feel like saying 'take me offline for a week so I can catch up' but I know what the answer will be so I'll just keep my guts1 and keep plugging away.

Evening folks! (Or morning, or afternoon … whatever it is in your neck of the woods).

Monday's over (yay!) but I'm feeling like I have to really push myself to get through the week. My teamie came back from leave today so that will hopefully alleviate some of the pressure. My new team leader also started today and I don't quite know what to make of her yet. No wonder I come home in recovery mode most of the time these days.

I will admit I hibernated a little this weekend - I tidied up a little, did the edges of my jigsaw puzzle, watched an insane amount of footy and maybe an equally insane amount of YouTube. I figure if I can spend the next couple of weekends like this I'll be happy. It's going to be an insanely busy April (personally that is, not the day job). Tonight's plan is dinner, apple cider and My Kitchen Rules.

@kdfrawg I thought once it hits March I'll be fine, it'll start to cool down in the lead up to winter and I won't have to suffer anymore. Nope, it's past the middle of March now and the humidity is still killing me. Damn this weather.

@kdfrawg It really is! But it's soooo much fun :)

//

@kdfrawg Absolutely! What's interesting about it is while I was doing research I was reading some forums about which board I should get (originally I was going to get one that fit 1000 pieces) but then they all said if I'm going to do 1000 piece puzzles I'm better off getting a board slightly bigger that way I have the room to do it.

@kdfrawg neither am I - that's why I can't wait for autumn to really kick in.
