@jws I don’t think senior management really understand the idea of ‘I need to get home for this reason’ or whatever. My life doesn’t and shouldn’t revolve around work.
So I thought I’d got rid of the debate I had with my brainium over the whole Wii U vs Switch thing. But now that I’m watching more and more let’s plays of games on the Wii U1 I decided I would get one while I still can. Call it an early birthday gift.
Also, I’ll be selling my Wii so that will surely make up for part of my purchase. That and it just doesn’t fit the aesthetics of my gaming area anymore (all my other consoles are black).
Wind Waker, Shovel Knight and Super Mario 3D World just to name a few
I worked a 10-hour day for what will probably be the first time in my working life. It will also be my last. If I was living on my own I probably wouldn’t care so much, in fact I would be asleep by now if that were the case. But when you have family to go home to, your perspective on the work life balance changes drastically.
@kdfrawg Yeah, I do it. Sure it's different to what I'm used to but I figure experience in a variety of skills is always good too.
@kdfrawg Hehe … Hi Michael :) How's things? It's the end of an uber busy week at work. Basically spent today binge watching YouTube stuff.
Oh God, it feels like a lifetime since I've been around. Life's been getting in the way, again.
Still uber busy @ work. I'm surprised I haven't had a meltdown yet, although I was really close today.
Been doing some research on whether I should go down to Sydney again for the Zelda concert in October but I think it'll be too expensive. I don't even know if I'll have another job by then, looks like this contract will wrap up at the end of October.
Can't believe it's just past 10pm and I'm literally falling asleep as I write this post. Yep, I need sleep.
@tomas Again with the Brisbane vote, but that's just me being biased. I'll never be a true Queenslander but I don't care.
