So it's been an interesting turn of events today. My manager saw my resignation email after being absent from the office yesterday. She came and spoke to me about it and asked me what I thought was a silly question at the time but anyway … she asked me if I was sure about my decision.

Of course I'm sure about my decision.

  1. You made a bad business decision in not giving me a job you know I'm clearly passionate about.
  2. You kept me in limbo for close to a month while you allowed the successful candidate to see out his notice period yet not once did you give me the same courtesy of telling me so I could adequately prepare my next move.
  3. You assumed I would train said successful candidate and then step into my teamie's role for two months while she goes on LSL. I see very little financial gain for me here.

Guess what, it's no wonder you're all scrambling for a plan B cause your plan A didn't go to plan. Sorry BCC, you've done your dash with me now.
