@peemee I'm sooo bleeping frustrated with the stupidity that is our current ISP. We are currently off contract (have been since the end of Jan). Mum called them yesterday saying she was interested in said bundle. It was a sweet deal that included Cable Broadband and Foxtel. I'd done all sorts of research last night on pricing since it would be a significant saving on what we currently pay.
Armed with my information, Mum walks into the store today and gets told the bundle she was after expired yesterday and would not honour it even though she had expressed her interest via phone yesterday. Begs the question why nothing was said while she was on the phone. Stupid ISP. We have struggled for some amount of time for decent internet and now this roadblock hits us like a ton of bricks.
We now have an interim internet connection until Thursday, when we may finally get the Fast Cable Broadband we've been after for months.
I guess it's back to the drawing board in terms of research and pricing.
